Sinds dit jaar ben ik weer actief manga’s gaan lezen, lees de blog voor mijn TBR!
Eerder vond ik het super leuk om manga’s en strips te lezen, maar op den duur verkoos ik boeken boven manga’s. Inmiddels ben ik weer terug bij het lezen van manga’s aangezien er de laatste jaren steeds minder boeken verschijnen die mijn interesse wekken. Fijn voor mijn fysieke TBR stapel want die bestaat op het moment uit minder dan 15 boeken, maar wel jammer dat ik nu niet veel keuze heb voor welke mood ik in ben.
Toen ik afgelopen jaar naar Berlijn verhuisde was er een manga winkel, J-store, dichtbij mijn huis en tijdens mijn eerste bezoek bracht ik daar enorm veel tijd door en werd mijn interesse opnieuw gewekt. Ik pakte toen Sailor Moon op omdat haar manga’s eerder mijn favoriet waren. Deze zomer besloot ik om aan Spy x Family te beginnen omdat ik er zo ontzettend veel leuke dingen over hoorde van een van mijn favoriete muziekgroepen Stray Kids.
De meeste manga’s lees ik in het Duits zodat ik op een speelse manier veel met de taal bezig ben. Stuk leuker dan de taal leren met een tekstboek! Wel zeg ik erbij dat mijn Duits leesniveau vrij hoog is, dus het is niet zo dat ik op beginners level zit.
Van alle manga’s die ik hieronder noem, is er maar eentje die niet naar het Duits is vertaald en die zal ik lezen in het Engels.
Spy×Family 1 – Tatsuya Endo

Deze serie zag ik per toeval voorbij komen, maar toen ik zo ontzettend veel goede dingen over hoorde van Manga YouTubers besloot ik deze boeken op mijn TBR te zetten.
Those Not-So-Sweet Boys – Yoko Nogiri
Midori drops her wallet on her first day of high school, but her new classmate Ichijo swoops in to help. She wants to thank him, but he’s part of a tight-knit trio and none of them are ever in class! De enige serie van deze lijst die ik waarschijnlijk in het Engels ga lezen, tenzij het ondertussen wordt vertaald naar het Duits. Maar dat is nog even afwachten, voor nu denk ik dat ik de serie in het Engels ga oppakken.

Ik kom niet veel manga’s tegen die een andere setting hebben dan de middelbare school, dus ik vond het heel tof toen ik deze manga tegenkwam die afspeelt op een college. Ik kwam deze manga al tegen tijdens mijn bezoek bij de manga winkel in Berlijn en het sprak me meteen aan.

Op mijn verjaardag vorig jaar in Berlijn ging ik langs de J-store en daar kocht ik deze prachtige manga. Toen ik deze manga zag, wist ik meteen dat ik net als toen ik een tiener was enorm zou gaan genieten van het verhaal van Sailor Moon.
