Did I hear langage stacking? Let’s talk about it in this blog!
What is my language goal for this year?
Italian – Start and get to A2
What do I need the language for?
– Because I like the language, so just for fun. There is no pressure.
– Work. Yes, I know I also need it in the (far) future for work. So why not already get a head start?
Where am I now?
I’ve been wanting to study Italian for a long time, but at a certain point I turned back to French, cause I prefer the grammar rules in that romantic language. However, I want to give it a shot again. I am not entirely sure yet how I want to study the language to be honest. Maybe I am going to do language stacking. Learning the language with French and working my way up. I need to look into it, cause for some reason I personally don’t like to learn Italian from my native language (Dutch). I have the feeling too much is lacking. The same reason why I personally dislike that I have to learn Korean from an English standpoint even though my native language has more in common with Korean.
How am I going to study the language?
My goals for Q1:
– Find a french – Italian language studybook
– Learn what I need to learn from the French language so I can start language stacking next quarter
