De uitgeverij contacteerde me over dit boek en het sprak mij meteen aan. Ik had gehoopt dat ik dit boek al gelezen had in maart, maar helaas dat ging niet door, dus doe ik nu begin april een nieuwe poging!

Een historische romance op z’n tijd kan ik zeker waarderen en toen ik hoorde van deze manga was ik meteen verkocht. En wat las ik de eerste volume vlot uit! Er zat nog niet echt romance in, het was eerder een verhaal ter opbouw voor de rest van de serie. Nu ben ik wel heel benieuwd naar het vervolg en waar het verhaal heen zal gaan. Ik genoot enorm van de eerste volume, dat ik het liefst meteen door wilde lezen. Een manhwa leest op bepaalde vlakken anders dan een manga en ik moet zeggen dat manhwa’s mijn voorkeur hebben al heb ik er nog maar slechts één gelezen. Wellicht omdat ik dat van links naar rechts lees, maar ook omdat ik de manier van vertellen net iets prettiger vind in manhwa’s dan in manga’s. Desalniettemin geniet ik alsnog van manga’s. Een tijdje terug zag ik dit boek per toeval voorbij komen en toen ik hoorde dat het volledig in vers geschreven is, wist ik meteen dat ik het wilde gaan lezen! Daarnaast hoop ik het te gaan lezen voordat ik naar Berlijn ga. Het lijkt me super leuk om door dit boek alvast in de sfeer te komen.

Als ik naar Berlijn ga, dan maak ik lange uren in de trein en ik heb besloten dat dit het boek is die ik mee ga nemen op die reis.
