Kan je het geloven dat ik nog nooit een boek van deze auteur heb gelezen? Ondanks dat haar boeken onwijs populair zijn heb ik geen letter van haar werk gelezen. Gelukkig kan ik daar spoedig verandering in brengen nu ik een van haar boeken voor mijn verjaardag kreeg.

Nog een paar dagen wachten tot dat dit boek als luisterboek op Storytel staat… Ik kan niet wachten! Het eerste deel heb ik binnen twee dagen afgeluisterd en de klifhanger die volgde was behoorlijk pijnlijk aangezien ik niet meteen verder kon luisteren/lezen. Maar bijna is het zover!

Afgelopen zomer had ik een behoorlijk hectische tijd met werk, waardoor ik deze bundel niet meteen kon lezen nadat ik het in Berlijn had gekocht. Het tegenovergestelde is echter hoe mijn januari er meestal uitziet. Heerlijk rustig, dus genoeg tijd om een Duits gedichtenbundel te lezen.

Helaas vond ik het eerste deel uit deze serie geen sterk begin hebben, pas tegen het einde begon het verhaal opgang te komen. Ik had graag gezien dat het plot beter was opgebouwd, want nadat het verhaal plot gedreven werd, zat ik al gauw helemaal in het verhaal. Dus op naar deel twee!
